Single: Twiztid - "Back to Hell"

While my tastes lay decidedly to the metal side of the coin, there is one group that is most definitely not metal but will always lay claim to my allegiance. Twiztid, the horror-rap duo formerly of Insane Clown Posse's Psychopathic Records, is set to release a new album this coming January. The first song has been released and I have to say I like it. It is a little different, a little dark, pretty fresh, and most definitely Twiztid. I know some of you may not understand why I like these guys, but they are really good and have a way of twisting a phrase, turning a beat, and getting into your head.

Concert Review: The World of Webs Tour - Twiztid, Blaze, DJ Clay, and More (Poughkeepsie, NY 12/4/10)

photoAs many of you who know me know, I am not exactly the biggest fan of rap or hip hop. I am not against it, it is just not my cup of tea and my knowledge can be called severely lacking. That said, I am a pretty big fan of the Psychopathic Family, you know, Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Anybody Killa, and the rest. So, when I saw that Twiztid was going to be rolling into town, there was no doubt that I was going to be in attendance. No doubt. This was a must see strengthened by Twiztid's incredible recent album, Heartbroken & Homicidal.

Music Review: Twiztid - Heatbroken & Homicidal

I first got into Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic with The Great Milenko. That's right, I haven't been there since the start but I have since gone back and gotten their older stuff and I will admit to being a big fan. Perhaps not quite to the level of being a Juggalo, but so be it I know what I like and I like this. However, for my money Twiztid are the most talented rappers on the label. I have been with them since the release of Mostasteless way back when. I have liked all of their albums but their latest, Heartbroken & Homicidal, takes it to an entirely new level. I have had a hard time getting away from it ever since I got it. In a word it is phenomenal. I don't care what you say.
