Patrick McGoohan, Dead at 80

Patrick McGoohan has passed away following a short illness (details not disclosed). He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

I cannot claim any great and detailed knowledge of the man or his career, but it is always sad for someone to lose a family member. When that person is a celebrity, they belong to a bigger family, one that involves many people who never met personally. An actor/artist can have an impact on anyone, anywhere, at anytime. At this time my thoughts go out to Mr. McGoohan's family and friends.

I will remember Mr. McGoohan for his work on The Prisoner, a show that I have been meaning to watch all of, but have been fascinated with the few episodes I have seen.
