Pop Evil - "Hero"

The Grand Rapids, MI, based Pop Evil have recently released their debut album called Lipstick on the Mirror. The first single is called "Hero" and its release was announced by way of a press release that stated the band attacked their lawyer and that video of the incident was on YouTube. Now, the band is not all that bad, not great, but fun rock music, but I do not particularly care for the way they announced the video. Are they that hard up for press that they went this route? Or was it something calculated by the label? In either case, I guess it worked as here's the video:
