Overcast Signs with Metal Blade

This is a pretty cool bit of news. Before joining Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage, singer Brian Fair and bassist Mike D'Antonio were bandmates in a group called Overcast. They worked the Boston circuit from 1991-1998 before calling it quits and moving onto their more successful projects. Now, Overcast has reunited and have signed a deal with Metal Blade Records. Fair and D'Antonio reunite with Pete Cortese (guitar), Steve McCooe (guitar) and Jay Fitzgerald (drums), and will be releasing Reborn to Kill Again in August. The album will be comprised of re-recorded versions of their old cuts. Below is a clip from a reunion show at Club Hypnotiq in 2006.
