The trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens does not give a lot away. There is no real plot, a few characters appear, no mention or glimpse of Luke, Han, or Leia, and, well, you get the picture. This is exactly what it is, a teaser, a little something to help whet the appetite and get the hype machine going. I am sure I will be afraid of over hyping it, but right now I do not care.
We see a man on the run disguised as a stormtrooper, we see new droids, new ships, and a villain with a pretty cool looking lightsaber. Then the familiar theme kicks in and we see the Millennium Falcon flying over what I believe to be the sands of Tatooine as it targets a couple TIE Fighters. We also get a look at some X-Wings flying low over a lake.
I am not going to over analyze or defend my love of the franchise, but I will say that I really like the trailer and look forward to seeing it in a theater.
