Macy to Direct Keep Coming Back

Variety is reporting that William H. Macy will be making his big screen directorial debut with a project titled Keep Coming Back. I do not know about you, but this is a film I will be interested in seeing when it makes its appearance.

Macy is a wonderful actor who has had memorable roles in a number of films, not the least of which is Fargo. He was also the only bright spot in the dreadful Psycho remake. He is one of the better character actors working and it will be interesting to see how well he makes the transition to being behind the camera. I suspect that it will be a smooth transition, with the knowledge he must have picked up over the years.

The film tells the story of a man with a sheltered life who joins Alcoholics Anonymous in order to seduce the woman of his dreams, a former stripper set to be played by Milla Jovovich. Macy will also be on screen along with Steve Buscemi.
