My Winnipeg - Poster, Trailer
Guy Maddin is an intriguing filmmaker. I say this only having seen one of his films, The Saddest Music in the World. That movie was just weird, and this one looks to match, if not surpass that. My Winnipeg is an avant garde documentary (I think) centered on his hometown. The trailer explains the premise, sort of. I remember hearing of a screening where Maddin was in attendance and performed all of the narration live. That mjust have been fascinating. Anyway, check out the odd trailer and the very cool poster below:
