Disturbed - "Inside the Fire"

Disturbed hit the ground running with their triple-platinum debut The Sickness, back in 2000. They have been able to maintain a pretty steady fanbase over the years, despite having a sophomore slump with Believe, which saw their style change somewhat as David Draiman's singign style developed. Anyway, we are nearing the June 3, 2008 release date of their fourth album, Indestrctible. To help promote the new album, they have released the video for the first single, "Inside the Fire," a song dealing with suicide. Says Draiman, at Blabbermouth.net, of the song: "It is based on a true story of my own, where when I was about 16 or so, I had a girlfriend of mine commit suicide, and it was an unbelievably horrific and painful experience," he said. "And it was cathartic to make the song, and it really took me having a certain mindset to do it, and I had to wait 'til I was ready." I like the song and the video.
