Repo! The Genetic Opera - Stills, Trailer

As I watched the trailer, I could not help but shake my head and laugh. It looks like a cross between Saw and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested, but I have to wonder just how this will be marketed to a national audience, or if they will even try. It is set in a future where organ failure has ravaged the world and a company called GeneCo offers transplants at a steep price. If you miss a payment, the organ is repossessed. At the center is a young girl seeking the truth about her family and a cure, climaxing at the Genetic Opera. This sounds, and looks, utterly bizarre. It is being produced by Twisted Pictures and is being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, IV). Here are a pair of stills and the trailer:
