[REC] and Quarantine - Trailers

It's not often that I pair movies up, but these two deserve it. You see, [REC] is a Spanish language thriller that was bought by an American studio to be remade before it came out in Spain. On top of that, the producers have been paid not to release it in the States prior to the remake finishing its run. Quarantine is the remake. Whether or not either of these will be any good is all up in the air. I am afraid it will suffer from Cloverfield/Blair Witch/Diary of the Dead comparisons based on the camera style. Despite those potential issues, both trailers look like they could provide fun claustrophobic horror experiences. I look forward to finding out.
