The Fall - Trailer
Here is a film that looks rather interesting. As I watched the trailer I was instantly reminded of a single film, not because of the story, but because of the style. That film is The Cell, which, as it turns out, was directed by the same man, Tarsem. It is his only other film credit, whose credits include the REM video for "Losing My Religion." The film tells the story of a wounded man and an injured little girl. In order to get her to help him, he tells her a story that reflects what is going on in his mind, over time, the fantasy and reality become intertwined. It stars Lee Pace of televisions Pushing Daisies and the recent film Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. The film has been sitting around since 2006 and is now being championed to the screen by acclaimed directors David Fincher and Spike Jonze.
