Movie Media: Southland Tales - Poster

How long has this been in the can? I cannot claim to have followed this production all that closely, but I seem to remember reading that it was finished like one or two years ago. It stars Dwayne Johnson (better known as The Rock), Seann William Scott, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. It is the second feature from Richard Kelly who burst on the scene in 2001 with the cult hit Donnie Darko. Anyway, here is the poster for it, which I can honestly say does not excite me in the least. I am interested in the movie based on cast and writer/director. For those unfamiliar with Kelly, may look at this and forget it in a matter of seconds. See what I mean:
