Simon Bossell plays a nature field researcher who is investigating the strange extinction of small animals and insects in the area, which indicates that something is wrong. His suspicions are soon to be proven right when he meets Pamela Gidleys character, May, who lives in a cabin in the forest nearby. May says that her house is infested by small creatures that she thinks are mice or rats. When the couple search the house further, they notice that they're not rodents or insects. They are fast evolving lizards that have the appetite for animals and humans, no matter what size their prey are...
Decent horror flick, nothing great but it sure does get fun, especially towards the end. The movie features some silly special effects and a lean cast of 5 performers and a cat. It is put together well althought the story isn't very strong, their is decent quality andwell pretty much what you would expect from a B-grade movie.
The story has a woman moving to a remote cabin and finding some strange things there, what she thought was rats and actually wasn't. She ends up meeting some researcher guy named Marshall, together they find these funky egg things and mutating lizards. Then her ex-boyfriend shows up looking for some money she stole from him. As I said the story is kind of weak, but it is fun when the lizards start poppin'!
The story is kind of weak, But it is still a decent addition to the hall of B-movies.
