There is a new trailer out for A Sound of Thunder based on the Ray Bradbury story. To tell you the truth. I haven't made up my mind yet whether or not I think I'm going to like it. I like the concept, but the trailer doesn't look to be terribly exciting.
At this point, it looks as if it could wind up being another Timeline. That's a shame too, Ray Bradbury deserves better than that. Hopefully I am just jumping the gun, hopefully it will turn out to be clever and exciting.
If you aren't familiar with this title, it is a time travel movie that deals with the ramifications of changing something in the past. I have not read the story, but what I gather from the trailer is that in the future, when time travel is possible, a group of people go back in time and inadvertently change something. Upon their return to their present, they find that the world is completely different than how they left it.
The trailer plays off all of the action that is supposedly going in the film, people running and yelling, nothing special. I am hoping that the development is not skimped on. Here's to hope.
